MATCH ARRANGEMENTS: Stocksbridge Park Steels (AWAY)

Stocksbridge PS play in the NPL Division One East and narrowly missed out on promotion last season, losing on penalties in the play-off semi-final. It will be our first meeting since March 2014, but our past encounters are best remembered for a wonder goal at Gigg Lane by an unknown striker by the name of Jamie Vardy back in 2009. 

 

We have received the following information from Stocksbridge:

Address: Bracken Moor Stadium, Bracken Moor Lane, Stocksbridge, Sheffield, S36 2AN

Kick-off: 7:30pm

Pay on the gate prices are as follows:

£5 Adults, 

£3 Concessions, 

U17-13 £3, 

U12 Free

Car parking is available opposite the ground for supporters

Directions: 

From the NORTH: Leave the M1 at Junction 36. Take the A61 towards Sheffield. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A616.

From the SOUTH: Leave the M1 at Junction 35A. Take the A616 towards Manchester.

Follow the A616 for around 4 miles to the Fox Valley Roundabout. Turn left and follow the road down the hill. Go straight on at the next roundabout and then left at the traffic lights. Turn right and go up Nanny Hill for about ½ mile. The ground is on the left opposite the playing fields.

From SHEFFIELD CITY CENTRE: Take Penistone Road (A61) towards Hillsborough. As you pass Hillsborough Park on your left, turn left, follow the signs to Stocksbridge(A6102). Continue along this road until you eventually reach the traffic lights at Deepcar. Follow the sign for Stocksbridgetown centre, i.e. Turn left at these lights. You should now be on Manchester Road (B6088), heading towards Stocksbridgetown centre. Shortly before you reach the main shopping centre, you will see a clock tower on the hillside to your left. You should take your next (sharp) left up Nanny Hill (sign posted Bracken Moor). Follow this road up the hillside as it becomes Bracken Moor Lane, you will see Bracken Moor Stadium on your left. The car park is on the opposite side of the road.
