On Sunday 3rd September FC United Women return to league action as we welcome Norton and Stockton Ancients to Broadhurst Park.
Kick-off: 2:00pm
The two teams
Our women’s team have had a tough start to the 2023-24 season but will be looking to kick on and get the first points on the board. A number of new additions to the squad will be looking to make an immediate impression and hopefully you can get down to BP to cheer them on.
Norton & Stockton Ancients earned a goalless draw away to Middlesborough in their first league game, before exiting the cup in a 0-4 defeat to Liverpool Feds. The side finished a comfortable 7th in the league in 2023-24 and will provide another stern test for Jennie Swarbrick’s side.
On 6th August 1856, Norton was the place of the first what? Read till the end to find out.
