Pitching In Northern Premier League

Saturday 9th November 3pm

Our road trip continues, before we finally head back to Broadhurst Park on the 16th for our rearranged fixture against Workington, with a trip to Leek Town this coming Saturday.

The F Ball Community Stadium, or Harrison Park as it then was, is of course where we played our first ever league game almost twenty years ago, as it played host to our North West Counties Football League Division Two opener against Leek CSOB.

Ticketing

Leek Town are encouraging supporters to buy tickets in advance via Fanbase (https://app.fanbaseclub.com/Fan/Tickets/SelectType?fixtureId=8396) and will be providing a free digital programme for any supporters buying tickets in advance.

Pay on the gate entry will be available but Leek Town are asking supporters wishing to pay on the gate to arrive by 2.30pm. Supporters who are planning to arrive after 2.30pm are encouraged to purchase a ticket in advance.

Ticket prices are as follows:

Adult - £12

Concessions - £8

Under 18 - £4

Under 8 - FREE

Get Yourself to that Football Ground:

The club’s address is The F. Ball Community Stadium (Harrison Park), Macclesfield Road, Leek, Staffordshire, ST13 8LD.

Driving

The stadium is on the main A523 (Macclesfield Road) road as you come into the town from the north. Parking at the ground itself is very limited, but there are parking bays on the main road, and additional on-street parking on the industrial estate towards the Sainsbury’s to the north of Macclesfield Road (note that the Sainsbury’s itself has a three hour parking restriction in place).

Public Transport

There is no railway station in Leek itself, with the most practical option being via Stoke-on-Trent.

From Stoke, supporters will need to get a bus to Hanley, where they can pick up the number 18 ‘Leek Link’ bus and walk approximately 15 minutes from the stop at Sneyd Street. This is an hourly service at weekends, with the last bus back to Hanley leaving Leek bus station at 18:37.

Supporters can also go by train via Buxton or Macclesfield and then get a bus from there, but please note that these services (108 from Buxton, 109 from Macclesfield) run very infrequently at weekends.
