Match Arrangements: Krakow Dragoons

On Monday 6th November we will travel to the Polish city of Krakow for our opening group C match of this season’s Fenix Trophy. Kick-off: 20:15 CET

Venue:

KS Pradniczanka Stadium (capacity 1,200)

świętego Andrzeja Boboli 5, 31-408 Kraków, Poland

All seater stadium with one big stand along the sideline

Stadion Miejski im. Władysława Kawuli (Stadion Prądniczanki) – Stadiony.net

Transport to the ground:

From the centre buses 169, 307 and 503. Google maps gives you accurate info for buses.

Taxis are cheap in Poland and probably your best bet with the fare from the old town to the stadium of around £5. It is recommended that you download and use one of the following taxi apps which are used widely in Krakow: Uber, Bolt or Free Now

Admission:

Adults: Either £5 (notes only) or 20 Polish Zloty. Please try and have exact change

U13s: Free

Important: Cash only, there will be no ability to make a card payment

Pay on the turnstile which open approximately 19:45 as like most grounds in Poland this is a municipal stadium which is in use until then.

Kick Off:

20:15 CET which is the local time in Poland.

For those watching the live stream in the UK (link to be announced on Fenix Trophy social media a few hours prior to the match) this is 19:15

Food & Drink:

Nothing available to purchase in the ground but you can bring you own into the stadium. Please be considerate and where possible bring cans rather than bottles which can smash. There are shops selling beer near to the ground. We have been advised that the area around the ground is not blessed with great bars so you may wish to drink in the Old Town area pre-match and head to the ground for entry.

Pyro:

Anyone bringing flares which may damage the pitch or stands risks being ejected from the ground. Those creating smoke rather than heat will be tolerated but you may be asked to stand on the corner of the stand.

Merchandise:

Dragoons had asked for pre-orders for merchandise and as such there will only be very limited merchandise available at the ground for those who didn’t but anything will be cash only

Post-match:

After the game players, staff and fans will be meeting in Fog House Pub & Grill, Koletek 11, 31-069 Krakow. Fog House Pub & Grill - Zamów i zapłać online - Fog House Pub & Grill

Entry into Poland:

A reminder that following Brexit entry requirements to travel from the UK to the EU have changed and your passport must have a date of issue less than 10 years from your date of arrival and have an expiry date at least 3 months after the date you leave Poland. There are no visa requirements for a British passport holder to visit Poland.

Phones:

Again following Brexit some UK mobile phone operators (but not all) have re-introduced roaming charges for using your mobile whilst in the EU although for some this is for new customers or those who have changed their plans. It is recommended you check in advance of travelling so you don’t get any nasty surprises.
