On Saturday 17th July 2021 (Kick off 3pm), the first team will be taking on Bolton Wanderers FC at Broadhurst Park.
The maximum capacity for this game will be 1,630 and as a result it will be all ticket. If you don't have a ticket, you will not be able to access the ground. This is a segregated fixture, Bolton Wanderers have been allocated 250 tickets in the West Stand and a portion of the North Stand and Main Stand.
Please wear a face mask for walking through all indoor spaces (including the ticket office) and continue to social distance. If you have any symptoms of Covid, please stay away from the stadium.
Tickets
Tickets for Bolton Wanderers supporters have sold out - please note there is segregation in place for this game hence we cannot offer on general sale.
Pre-ordered tiickets should be collected from the Ticket Office prior to the game, which is the single story wooden building just inside the entrance to the ground from Lightbowne Road and will be open from 12:30pm until 3pm.
There are some tickets available for purchase from the Ticket Office before the game, between 12pm and 2pm for Fc United members and season ticket holders only - please bring proof of ID.
Matchday information
Turnstiles
1 and 4 (SE corner) are open for FCUM fans. An early turnstile will be open from 1pm.
9 and 12 (South West corner) are open for those with BWFC tickets. These will open at 1.30pm.
Stadium – All stands are open. Seating restrictions apply in the mainstand due to Covid and social distancing applies across the stadium.
Policing - Please note that for this fixture there will be police horses outside the ground. This is a training exercise. They will be present for all remaining pre-season fixtures.
Food & Beverages
Food and drink will be available from the main function room, SMRE food counter, SMRE bar and – for Bolton fans – from our new bar in the West Stand (see West Stand below for details). Food and drink should be purchased by queuing but must be consumed whilst seated. Seating is available in the main stand, West stand and North stand. This should mean that all those who want a drink can get a drink (even if it’s not necessarily where you’d like to drink it). You will not be able to drink standing up in the SMRE or in the paddocks in the mainstand.
SMRE has guest cask ales (Nelson Sauvin Pale, Eldorado ultra- pale) alongside our regular beers.
Food and drinks must be consumed sitting down at the tables. Seating available for up to 80 people socially distanced on a first-come-first-served basis.
Queuing systems will be in place for all food and drink outlets, please ensure you adhere to social distancing and wear face masks unless you are sat at your table. Eating or drinking standing up is not permitted, we ask for your co-operation to ensure this does not take place.
If supporters don’t abide by the new regulations and attempt to take drink into the other stands, we risk having to stop all alcohol consumption on match days and even potentially a further capacity cut. Thank you for your understanding.
