FC United has announced that defender Lewis Lacy has taken up the offer of a football scholarship in Syracuse in the USA and has left the club. First team manager Karl Marginson said: “I was obviously disappointed to lose a player of Lewis’s quality but this was a great opportunity for him as a young person to further their personal and professional development. Lewis will be missed but we wish him all the best for the future.???
