Calling all junior members. First meeting of the new season
FCUth decided last season that a scoreboard was needed at our ground. The money raised from the junior stall pays for all things Uth related and so the new flooring for the gantry was purchased. The other items needed to complete the scoreboard has all been donated by our own fans, including all the time to make the gantry safe and to install the scoreboard. This season we are going to continue junior meetings so that our future generation will have a say in their club. The first meeting of this season will be on Saturday August 17th from 12.30-1.15pm in the clasroom by the grey gates. We would like as many juniors there as possible so please parents let's get them involved. We will have a board member in attendance as well as a player/manager for the juniors to ask questions. We want to hear them-what they like about the club, what they would like to see happen in the future, and also to help on days like Youth United Day. It's their club and they are the future key holders. Let them have their say, let them be proactive. Any age is welcome. We have an important job for them to do at the beginning of the season, which will be revealed on Saturday. Please contact chris.boulderstone@fc-utd.uk if your child will be attending.
