Are you passionate about football and business growth? FC United of Manchester is on the hunt for a dedicated part-time Business Development Manager to drive our commercial ventures to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on a storied football club while working flexibly.

Duration: Initially for 6 months
Work Schedule: 3 days a week
Salary: Annual £26,000 (Pro Rata £15,600)

FC United of Manchester is on the hunt for a dedicated Part-Time Business Development Manager to drive our commercial ventures to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on a storied football club while working flexibly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Networking: Be our face in Manchester! Attend a minimum number of events and ensure our 2 remaining Business Club Events are a roaring success.
  2. Sponsorship: Secure traditional sponsorships ranging from high-value club sponsorships (men's, women's, and community) to smaller packages like perimeter hoardings, matchday sponsorships, and more.
  3. Community investment: Identify and engage with businesses eager to invest in community benefit projects, ensuring they receive the social return they desire.
  4. Facilities & Events: Oversee the hiring of BP facilities, making sure they're utilised for private functions, events, conferences, training sessions, and filming opportunities.
  5. Event Planner: Organise and execute larger events, including gala dinners, supporters' dinners, football tournaments, and our iconic Play on Pitch events.
  6. Matchday: Elevate our matchday experience by promoting activities like merchandising and football tourism.
