FC United of Manchester is a fan-owned, community-focused football club committed to using football as a force for good. We run inclusive programmes for all ages, backgrounds, and abilities across North Manchester.

Role Overview

  • Casual coaching sessions in schools, community venues, and club facilities
  • Deliver fun, engaging football activities for children, young people, and adults
  • Support the club’s mission to promote health, wellbeing, and social inclusion

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead, and assist on football sessions in line with programme objectives
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality football coaching for participants of all ages and abilities
  • Ensure sessions are safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone
  • Work with diverse groups from varied ages, backgrounds, and abilities
  • Represent and promote FC United’s values in the community

Requirements / Skills

  • FA Level 2 / UEFA C Coaching qualifications (would also consider applicants who are working towards their UEFA C)
  • FA First Aid & Safeguarding Children qualifications (or willingness to complete)
  • Experience working with children, young people, or community groups
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to inspire others
