FC United recently had its first Make A Difference Week, giving fans the chance to give a little of their time to do something to raise funds for the Development Fund and our new ground. But it’s not too late to still join in and Make A Difference. For full details of what to do
Some of the great examples of what FC folk have done so far to Make A Difference are:
- Brian Pendlebury selling his homegrown Rhubarb at the match for £20
- The Fine Lung coach to Matlock raised £85
- FC general manager Andy Walsh sold an unwanted phone on e-bay for £15
- Board Member Stephen Pagnam is doing some gardening work to raise funds
- Glyn Williams made and sold cakes to colleagues at work for £42
- Goalie and part time farmer James Spencer sold £25 worth of eggs from his hens to board member Chris Hammond
Thanks to all those who have contributed so far. So why not give it a go? Have a think and see what you could do to Make A Difference to FC United and the funds we need for building our new ground in Moston. Please send all monies raised to the FC United Office at the usual address with details of how you raised it.
