Female Football Festival
FC United of Manchester is set to host an exciting Girls’ Football Festival this spring, delivered in partnership with the Medicare Foundation. Open to girls aged 10–14 of all abilities, the event promises an afternoon packed with energy, fun, and football‑themed activities.
Taking place on Wednesday 15th April, from 12:00pm to 1:30pm, the festival is all about inspiring young females to get active, try new skills, build confidence, and enjoy the beautiful game in a friendly, supportive environment.
Designed with inclusivity at its heart, the festival welcomes complete beginners, regular players, and everyone in between. The focus is simple: take part, get involved, and have fun—no trials, no pressure, just football.
Participants will enjoy a variety of small‑sided games, team challenges, football‑related activities, and skill‑building stations, all led by experienced coaches who are passionate about creating opportunities for girls in sport.
The event is part of a wider commitment by FC United of Manchester and the Medicare Foundation to promote grassroots female football, encourage participation, and help young girls discover the joy of being active and working as a team.
Whether you’re already playing or trying football for the first time, this festival is the perfect chance to make new friends, boost your confidence, and enjoy an unforgettable afternoon on the pitch.
