Gigg Lane Pitch Update

The Gigg Lane pitch is currently frozen and a pitch inspection is planned. The weather is forecast to improve later in the week it may not do so in sufficient time to save our fixture against Chorley on Wednesday 20th February.

The Gigg Lane pitch has been covered with a double layer of frost sheets since Saturday but we are informed that the frost has penetrated both layers.

A pitch inspection is planned for late tomorrow morning Wednesday 20th February when a further announcement will be made, supporters are asked to check the website before travelling.
