Fundraising totals from Gainsborough Trinity game
We sold 1,125 Pound for the Ground tickets at the Gainsborough game last Saturday, therefore £875 was raised for the club’s Development Fund. The first three prizes have been claimed but the breakfast for two voucher is awaiting a claimant .
The winning tickets were as follows: -
0273 - 1st prize £200 (claimed)
0709 - 2nd prize £50 (claimed)
1124 - 3rd prize Fudge Hamper (claimed by Tobias, visiting from Germany)
0857 - 4th prize Breakfast for two
The barrel collection was boosted by the Pound for the Ground first prize winner, Damian Cox, who donated £50 of his winnings back to the DF, and even bought the ticket seller a drink. Well done that man! So, when dried out and counted, the total collection was £230 for the DF. That means we raised a grand total of £1,105 for the DF at the Gainsborough Trinity game.
Well done to the team for turning out in such awful weather and a massive thanks to everyone who contributed to the collection. The Pound for the Ground and barrels will be back in action at the FA Trophy game a week on Saturday. Meanwhile at the Manchester Premier Cup match on 24 November against Stalybridge Celtic we will be selling Xmas raffle tickets and asking supporters if they could take a few home to sell to friends and family. We have distributed over 2,000 tickets last week so please catch up with one of the team if you think that you can sell any.
Following the money raised at the Gainsborough Trinity game, the running total for the season now stands at £14,564 raised for the DF from home matches.
