The Orchard Project in collaboration with In Our Nature, FC United, and Lakeside CIC would like to invite you come and join us for an afternoon of forest gardening around the new orchard at Broadhurst park on Sunday 11th May 12:30 - 3:30pm.

During this session we will learn about what a forest garden is. We will also discuss the benefits of planting one and why it is important to increase biodiversity within an orchard or other site.

This is a practical, hands-on session and we will be planting a forest garden in the orchard, if you are unable to work close to the ground but would like to learn about forest gardening please do come along anyway. There will be time for chats and brews: we will provide snacks and light refreshments, there are toilets onsite.

Please dress appropriately for gardening and for the weather on that day.
