Football Apprenticeship scheme launched

FC United are pleased to announce the launch of its Community Football Coach Apprenticeship scheme.
Approximately 45 young people will receive training in football coaching over a 16 week period.

Training will be delivered at three centres:

• Clayton
• Ancoats
• Ardwick/Longsight

Young people will receive an FA Level 1 coaching badge and an NVQ Level 2 in Sport and Leisure upon successful completion of the course.

Training will be delivered by FC United coaches and our partner Football Qualifications Ltd.

At the end of the course, the club is aiming to take on as many of the graduates of the scheme as possible in community football coaching roles working mainly with children in the areas around the new stadium in Newton Heath.
