On Saturday 27th April our Men’s Team take to the field for the final time this season as we welcome Lancaster City to Broadhurst Park (ko 3pm). There’s plenty going on around the ground as we look forward to Youth United Day, a cracking lineup in CYCM and our ‘Thanks to the fans’ End of Season Do and player presentations.
Youth United Day
To hopefully make the most of some late April warm weather we will be holding a Youth United Day to make sure the fans of the future see FC United as their club and enjoy a great day at Broadhurst Park. The activities will be taking place on the grass verges in front of the ground, with the fitness classes taking place at gate 6. The fun starts from 12:30pm.
We’re encouraging our young fans to make their own flag or banner at home and bring it to the ground and display at Broadhurst Park. Get down early.

‘Thanks to the Fans’ End of Season Do and player presentations
As our final game of the season, we will be holding our End of Season Do to allow the opportunity for players, staff, volunteers and fans to share a drink together and end the season on a high. The event is free to attend and open to all supporters.
The family of Nobby Stiles will be attending the game and will present the Nobby Stiles Young Player of the Season (Academy) - sponsored by Sporting Memories - pre-match.
There will be a lap of honour from our Men’s Women’s & Academy teams after the game. With food available until 7:30pm in the main bar.
After the game make your way to the Main Bar where the presentations will begin at 6pm. We will hear from Neil Reynolds and Jennie Swarbrick, and our Bar Manager Jo Burtonwood will also say a few words.
Programme stall
As it’s the final game of the 2023/24 season we will have a special offer on our back issues from the programme stall. All back issues will be available for just £1 for this game – our programme has performed really well this season and we would encourage as many supporters as possible to pick up a copy and support our print edition to ensure it remains on a sustainable financial footing.
