FCUM Review v Ilkeston

We are in the midst of Football v Homophobia month, so Saturday’s FCUM review outlines FC United’s support for the campaign to make our game a place for everyone.

We have a cracking interview, courtesy of our Germany correspondent, with the group Football Fans Against Homophobia. They explain how Paul Scholes and Gary Neville have aided their campaigning and talk about the challenges that LGB&T fans face on a regular basis.

Our red comrade Chris Basiurski, chair of the Gay Football Supporters Network, takes part in our Stoppage Time feature and talks about his stag do, which he held at Course You Can Malcolm last season and his dislike of Liverpool FC...

We have another of our Gigg Lane memories pieces, this time casting our collective minds back to the open top bus parade we held following our first ever league title in April 2006. We speak to steering committee members Jules Spencer and Martin Morris, among others.

If anyone would like to tell us about their own Gigg Lane Memories, as we enter the last few months of our tenancy, please email us at: programme@fc-utd.uk

We have more on the FC2K campaign, comparing our crowds with the rest of the non-league clubs.

There is an update on ground funding and our business plan for when we move to Moston, plus a cut-out and fill-in standing order form in the centre pages. Every little helps.

A lad from South Manchester has been stitched up in Meet the Owners and we have our usual match reports, stats, four-page away team section and ace pictures from the best team of snappers in the country (who else can boast such riches of talent?)

All for the ridiculously good value of £2, from our crack team of sellers led by Dave the Rave and Tom on his programme stall mithering about some rarity from 1952...

Don’t forget you can always buy back issues of FCUM Review. Due to the nature of our programme, as well as serving the particular match it is published for, it also acts as a club magazine, therefore doesn’t date. You get in-depth coverage into everything about your club on a twice monthly basis.

Thanks for the support

Online shop hard copy

We are also pleased to announce that all previous programmes from this season are now available to buy in the ’programmes and binders’ section of our online club shop. We are sorry for the delay in this - it was due to work being carried out on the site.

Online Subscriptions

And don’t forget if you can’t make the match or prefer to not have the clutter, you can buy a digital version of the programme for your phone, tablet or computer.

You can subscribe to a season’s worth of programmes for £30 by visiting this page.

This presents a big saving over the season.

We will also be selling PDF programmes on a match-by-match basis for £1.50 via the club shop.

The process for subscribers is explained here.

A link to a special page on the official website will be emailed to all subscribers as soon as the order can be processed, which can only be accessed using a supplied username and password.
