Our Junior Sports Day will go ahead on the 3G Astro Pitches on Sunday 3rd June from 12noon till 3pm.
Events include an egg and spoon race; sack racing; bean bag throwing competitions; running races and many more so there will be something for everyone. All events will be sorted into age appropriate groups and the day will end with an awards presentation for all the prize winners.
An inflatable army assault course has also been hired – this is limited to those over the age of 8 at £1 per go. A prize will be awarded to the fastest entrant in each age group. This is also available for parents at a cost of £2 with half of the cost going back to the winner and the other half to the Development Fund.
We will also have a bouncy castle. There is a small charge of £1 for this, again with the proceeds going to the DF.
The ice cream man will be there on the day and we will also have a fire engine and police car for the younger members to investigate.
All under 18’s MUST be accompanied by a parent/carer. All adults, whether for themselves or on behalf of their child, will be required to complete a disclaimer form before being allowed to participate in the event.
FCUth current members will be free to enter. Anyone not with a current membership will incur a £3 fee which will enable them to become a member for next season.
Thank you to all the locals and local groups who have offered their assistance on the day, anyone else who would be happy to help please contact Chris Boulderstone on 07813913357.
Please try to support this day, as we would like to make it an annual event.
Let’s hope for good weather and a good turn out!
