FC United Women : Tom Fitton steps down as Manager

We are sorry to announce that Tom Fitton has decided to step down from his position as Women's Team Manager. James Mulvihill will be stepping up from his current role till the end of the season.

We are sorry to announce that Tom Fitton has decided to step down from his position as Women's Team Manager. With further commitments and responsibilities required in his full-time day job, and in addition to his family life, Tom felt he could not commit as much time and effort as he would want to the Women's Team.

Tom has lead the Women's Team into a new era at FC and has help lay the foundations for a successful future. We wish him the very best for the future, thank him for his huge contribution, and he will always welcome back at Broadhurst Park.

While we're sorry to lose Tom, we're delighted to announce that James Mulvihill, Tom's assistant, and someone who helped the the transition from Kamran Hussain, the previous Manager, will be taking charge on an interim basis for the remainder of the season, as we look to consolidate our position in the league.

Our sincere thanks to Tom and best of luck to James.

We will be advertising the permanent role at the end of the season.
