We were delighted to host the BUCS Emerging Club Leaders Development Day at Broadhurst Park this week.
The BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) Emerging Club Leaders scheme brings together students who are looking to develop their career in sports management, offering them placements at local football clubs and helping them gain experience of what it's like to work in football.
We've recently begun hosting two students from local universities who are involved in the scheme. Dan and Beau are helping to support our media output on matchdays and during the week, and they are really enjoying their time at Broadhurst Park. We are working with BUCS to offer opportunities to other students who would like to come in and gain experience with us, and support our staff team.
The scheme's latest Development Day was held at Broadhurst Park on Tuesday (3rd Dec) with 22 students attending, along with 7 guest speakers from the FA. We were really pleased to receive positive feedback on the quality of Broadhurst Park as an event venue, and we look forward to welcoming the BUCS team back in the future
