FC United have signed the Curzon Ashton attacking midfielder Matthew Kay to further strengthen the first team squad.
Commenting on the signing, manager Karl Marginson said: “Matty is a goal-scoring midfielder in the Simon Carden mould. I’ve known about him for a while and he’s a quality player and adds something different from the midfield area and will score goals.
"We have players in the forward line who can find the back of the net but Matty adds that little bit extra from the midfield area and gives us another threat which I’m sure will benefit us.???
Kay, who has scored four goals this season for Curzon Ashton, is expected to be in the FC United squad for this Tuesday’s game at Matlock Town.
