We’re delighted to announce we’ve been invited to play a league game in London for the first ever time in a groundbreaking new move for the club.

The new proposal, which has the backing of a wealthy London-based consortium, will see the Reds make history by playing a ‘home’ match in the capital next season.
Whilst we’re mindful that some supporters may have concerns about the switch, we believe that this exciting new project is an unmissable opportunity to broaden the reach and appeal of our club.
According to media reports, thousands of Manchester United fans live in and around London, so moving one of our games closer to the 'Southern Red Army' offers us huge potential to engage with these supporters.
Playing in London is not new for FC United. We have played several friendlies in the capital before – at Wimbledon, Enfield, and Clapton.
However, this will be the first time we’ve played a competitive league match in the city. As such, it’s sure to draw a bumper crowd, which will be fantastic for our financial position, as well as our brand.
The consortium behind the project has also offered to broadcast the match live online, which means any supporters who are unable to travel to London will not miss any of the action.
As always, our members will have the final say. You can share your feedback now via the survey below before voting for or against the proposal at the forthcoming General Meeting in May.
If members back the proposal, we will apply for permission from the FA and the league to move the match to an agreed venue in London.
Please let us know your intitial thoughts by taking our survey now. Your survey answers are not binding and you can cast your final vote at the General Meeting in May where full details of the proposal will be provided to members.
Thank you for your support.
