International Women’s Day 2026
FC United of Manchester is proud to announce a full week of free activities to celebrate International Women’s Day 2026, delivered in partnership with Morrisso Health. Taking place from 02–08 March at Broadhurst Park, the programme brings together women and girls from across the local community to connect, learn, move, and celebrate.
Designed for all females aged 5 and over, the schedule includes a wide range of drop‑in sessions such as seated exercise, mindful meditation, wellness walks, girls’ football, strength sessions, HIITSTEP, and more. The week also features a Women’s Business & Networking Luncheon, offering an opportunity for inspiration, professional growth, and community connection (Ticket needed for this event).
The initiative reflects FC United’s ongoing commitment to empowering women and supporting local wellbeing. By offering accessible, inclusive sessions led by community partners and trusted coaches, the club aims to create a welcoming environment where every woman and girl feels valued, supported, and encouraged to take part.
Stacy Partridge, Community Manager at FC United, said:
“International Women’s Day is an important opportunity to celebrate the amazing women in our community. This week of activities has been designed to bring people together, offer new experiences, and create a space where everyone feels welcome. Whether you’re joining us for fitness, football, or simply to connect with others, there’s a place for you here.”
All sessions are free to attend and open to participants of all abilities.
The full event programme is available below, and we look forward to welcoming everyone throughout the week as we celebrate the strength, diversity, and spirit of women across our community.
