FC United brews up new partnership with local coffee company

FC United of Manchester is brewing up a new partnership with The Coffee Bean Dream, a mobile coffee company based in Stockport.

Sarah Underwood, who owns the company operating two mobile vans, has signed up to FC United’s Business Club – an exciting new package for this season which gives organisations the opportunity to tap into a regional business network united by its support for a community football club.

Our club’s ethos on being at the heart of our community is shared by Sarah, as is our commitment to helping young people.

“My vision is to create a sustainable, environmentally responsible business which positively impacts the community, whilst empowering young people with a professional customer service skill set that will help towards future employment,” said Sarah, who established her business in 2017 after working for 10 years as an office manager in a Stockport school.

“With my business, I like to support other local businesses when possible. I use the local milkman for all my dairy requirements, a local baker for my fresh bakes and I sell Manchester Worker Bee coffee and tea – they donate back to local charities, such as Forever Manchester and Maggie’s Cancer Trust.

“Partnering with FC United feels like a really good fit as we both strive to serve our communities and give something back.”

The Coffee Bean Dream vans have already been selling drinks and bakes to parents of children using the 3G pitch at Broadhurst Park. Sarah and club CEO Natalie Atkinson will be discussing potential ways to grow the partnership in the coming months.

The coffee company joins Fishing Fiend Ltd and Great Annual Savings as the newest members of our Business Club, which includes access to four business networking events per season, tickets to a matchday networking event, and discounted rates for function room hire.

In addition, we’ve recently signed up three organisations to our 127 Club Business package, which includes season tickets and matchday hospitality:
