The session will be led by Academy Manager Adam Le Fondre and offers a fantastic opportunity for aspiring footballers to showcase their talent and experience what life is like as part of the FC United Academy.
A Pathway Into Football
If you are leaving school this summer and looking to pursue a career in football, this session is the perfect introduction to our brand-new Academy programme, launching this September.
Delivered in partnership with The Manchester College, the Academy offers a 2-year course where students will:
- Train and study onsite at Broadhurst Park
- Work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Physical Activity & Sports Coaching
- Develop both their footballing ability and academic qualifications

What to Expect on the Day
This training session is designed to assess your skills and give you a real insight into the Academy experience. Participants will:
- Take part in drills and technical skills sessions
- Compete in a competitive match
- Tour the club’s facilities, including:
- Gym
- Classrooms
- Dressing rooms
- Physio room
- Stadium and pitch
