Vernon was the Clarets' Academy Player of the Year in 2023/24, playing in their U21 side at the age of 16, scoring 21 goals. He is also a local lad, hailing from Blackley.
Vernon will be available for selection for tomorrow's FA Cup First Round Qualifying fixture away at Rossington Main. We'd like to thank all at Burnley for getting this deal secured.
