Fans for Diversity Day Returns to Broadhurst Park for FCUM v Lancaster City

FCUM will come together for the return of Fans for Diversity Day

Our home fixture against Lancaster City on Saturday 31 October will be Fans for Diversity Day 2026, a celebration of the diversity of our local community - a day about coming together in an increasingly divided world.

It reinforces our proud commitment to develop strong links with all in our community, be accessible to all and discriminate against none.

No place for discrimination

Fans for Diversity Day is a reminder that racism or any other form of discrimination will not be tolerated at FC United. We believe all people should be able to enjoy football without fear of intimidation or abuse. The club encourages people of all backgrounds to take an active role and to reach out to those communities that may feel socially excluded.

At a time when it can feel as though our communities are becoming increasingly divided, football is one thing so many of us have in common. A matchday brings together people who might never otherwise meet, as we all get behind United as one.

On the day:

We are delighted to welcome performances from a refugee women's choir and an African drumming group. The British Red Cross will also be joining us at Broadhurst Park.

Please give them a warm welcome and show that FC United is a place for everyone.

Come and join us

Come down, bring your friends and family, and help us show why We Are Stronger United.
