Design the new 3rd kit for the men’s team

Board member Simon came to the last FCUth meeting and asked that junior members design the new 3rd kit for the men’s team. Four of the entries will be put to a vote to decide the winner. The junior designing the winning shirt will be presented with a shirt when they are in stock.

Some restrictions are that they not be red, black or green and gold.

Simon asked that you young designers (not parents please) be as radical as you want, so let’s see something different. We only have 3 weeks to complete this, so entries in by 7th September please.

Design the new birthday card

We need a new birthday card design as the current one has been in use for a few years now, and it’s time for a change.

Specifications for this are that it needs to be suitable for all juniors, that it is designed by a junior, that drawn lines must be clear not melting into other colours. The designs will be sent to the printer for him to decide which card would look best in print.

Send your completed design by September 14th please.

FCUth Meetings

The first FCUth meeting of the season was held on 17th August and lots of things were discussed. We would like to see more of our junior members attending these pre match meeting so that you can give your voice to your club. The next meeting will be announced shortly.

Football skills/fun sessions

Trained football coaches will be running free skills/fun sessions on the 3G for children aged between 5-16. The sessions are aimed at fun ways of enhancing skills, getting to know other kids plus giving you parents an hours break.

Sessions will be from 1-2pm on Saturday match days. We will run them from September 7th to the end of October, have a break during Winter and then start again March till the end of the season.

Parents will be expected to bring the children to the session and collect them promptly at 2pm. No child will be allowed to leave without a parent/guardian collecting them and no child will be accepted unless brought by a parent/guardian. Individuals will not be able to bring a group of children.
