FC United of Manchester Recruiting Community Football Development Co-ordinator
FC United of Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Community Football Development Co-ordinator to help deliver and develop its growing community programme across Manchester.
Based at Broadhurst Park, this exciting role will use football as a vehicle for positive change, creating opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to become more active, improve their wellbeing, develop new skills and strengthen connections within their communities.
Working closely with the Community Manager, the successful candidate will coordinate and deliver a diverse range of activities, including youth engagement projects, school partnerships, holiday programmes, girls' and women's football, disability and inclusive football sessions, and wider community initiatives.
This is a practical, delivery-focused role that will suit someone who enjoys working directly with participants while also supporting programme development, building partnerships and helping to coordinate coaches, volunteers and community activities.
The position is offered on an 18-month fixed-term contract, working 20 hours per week, with a salary of £28,000 pro rata. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic coach and community practitioner to play a leading role in increasing participation, improving health and wellbeing, and helping strengthen communities across Manchester.
