We are pleased to announce that the Development Fund is now up to £69,618 . The DF raised £2,325 in the period between 8th February and 15th February. We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has made a donation.
The Development Fund was established to allocate funds to be used specifically for the build and development of our own football ground. Between 2007 and 2016, we raised £1,139,441
- a fantastic achievement that is a testament to the passion, dedication and generosity of FC United supporters. The money raised between 2007 and 2016 was used to help build and develop our new ground at Broadhurst Park.
There are still areas of the ground that need to be developed further.
We have set a fundraising target for this season of £300,000 to help us specifically develop the area under the St. Mary’s Road Stand, complete the build of the two ends of the Main Stand and allow us to meet the obligations of community shares and loans from the initial build.
In the period 8th February to 15th February the money raised was:
- Development Fund Donations: £835
- PFTG/ Barrels: £1,093
- DF Holiday Club: £110
- DF Fundraising Events: £287
Included in the figures above are:
£689.30 from PFTG sales at the Chorley match
£237.01 from the barrels at West Didsbury & Chorlton match
£187.80 from the barrels at the Chorley match
£208.12 from the DF Turnstiles at the Chorley and West Didsbury & Chorlton match.
£77.40 from the football cards.
We’ve also had approximately £350 in foreign currency which is being exchanged and banked this week, which will be included in next weeks update.
The total money raised between 1st July 2016 and 15th February 2017 is:
- Development Fund Donations: £35,807
- PFTG / Barrels: £15,383
- DF Holiday Club: £14,940
- DF Fundraising Events: £3,488
