David Pelham, in deepest sympathy

We were very sorry to hear the news that David had passed recently, founder member and long-term volunteer he will be greatly missed. If you wish to pay your respects, his funeral is this Friday, please click to read on.

We were all extremely saddened to hear the
news that David Pelham had passed away recently. Alongside the much missed Mark Stopford , Dave Pelham organised programmes from our first games at Gigg  Lane.

At one stage during our time at Bury and elsewhere, there were three Pelham programme sellers. There was David of course and then his wife, Maureen, who in time returned to her first love ‘Big United’, watching the Reds home and away. Daughter Fiona was a regular seller at Bury and during our nomadic years, then at Broadhurst Park before her employment took her to Copenhagen.

One thing that David did regularly was to buy the programme sellers a cuppa at our home games. They even got a pie occasionally!

He will be sadly missed and our thoughts are with
Maureen, Fiona and other members of the Pelham
family at this sad time.

Rest in peace, David.

If you would like to pay your respects then his funeral will be held this Friday 15th October at 12.15 pm at St Vincents Catholic Church, Altrincham
