CYCM: Saturday 3rd Decem-Belper

We are offering everyone some different sounds this Saturday at Course You Can Malcolm.  Get yourselves to the bar under the SMRE from 1pm onwards for a beer, a chat and a munch of a pie (tater ash or cheese) with a honey drop of homemade mushy peas atop (plus a muffin chaser).  A honey drop?, you ask with a quizzical raised eyebrow.  Read on to find out more from Xavi, from our band for Saturday : 
 
‘You probably haven’t heard about the Honey Drops yet. Unless you’ve met them on a dark dancefloor and had a chat with someone from the band. Still, you haven’t seen them live, have you? Not that they have entertained audiences up and down the country or played along the big names... Well, not yet anyway.

So here’s your chance. The early bee catches the honey, and if you pop by the Caring Stage under the SMRE stand just after 2.15, you’ll catch The Honey Drops, a brand new band from Manchester. Inspired and influenced by the raging Rhythm ‘n’ Blues from the 50s, the sweet Soul and sweaty stompers from the ‘60s going into the ‘70s. But right here and right now. Come down to that football ground!’
