This week, we've a female-heavy line-up and it's not even International Women's Day, so welcome to 2023. (In case you're wondering when International Men's Day is, it was last Sunday. That's what all the fireworks were for).
The Malcolmses Instagram page offers the following Important Public Announcement:
This week, we've a female-heavy line-up and it's not even International Women's Day, so welcome to 2023. (In case you're wondering when International Men's Day is, it was last Sunday. That's what all the fireworks were for).
So, our band is Jeuce, fronted by human dynamo Jenn, with pumping poly-rhythms (drums) supplied by Bruce. So, that's Je(nn)(Br)uce. That's Jeuce! This one is going to be a head-turner.
Keeping up our recent record for quality opening acts, we have also local comedian Justina SeselskaitÄ— taking the Caring Stage for us.
There will be the usual pies of Westwell's origin, the usual peas of Colwyn Bay origin and the usual jokers selling them. As well as this, there will be the usual array of quality ales, cask and otherwise.
Muffins?, you say, well, some kind of sourced-from-the-Welsh-borders apple muffins are rumoured, but it's a movable feast.
Also, get down early again as we're repeating last week's opportunity to win a pie, peas and cask ale combo with raffle tickets going to the first twenty customers to purchase an ale.
Further details may follow, but even if they don't why not just jump on an earlier bus/tram/hoverboard than usual and come and join us?
