Cup run barrels roll

The FCUM barrels have taken a liking to Sunday football; something that not all of us are comfortable with, but will have to endure until we get in the new ground. £372 was the total counted by the buckateers at the Cammell Laird game, along with some US dollars, Canadian dollars, Australian dollars and 20 euros from our globetrotting supporters. As a matter of interest, is there anyone who can swap 94 Swiss francs (all in change) into pounds or euros?

As we are all aware, because it was a cup game, the proceeds of the halftime draw go into club funds to help offset the match day income as we have to share gate receipts with the visitors. The winning number was 0786 and was sold to one of the regulars in the Main Stand Inn, whose daughter had already spent the money by the fulltime whistle! There were 652 tickets sold so £452 was paid into club funds.

All in all another fine day and thanks to all who contributed to the barrels and HT Draw; every penny is appreciated in these difficult times.
