Could you be our next U21s coach?

FC United of Manchester is seeking a driven and enthusiastic coach to join the newly established Under 21s men's team. In this role you will deliver high quality sessions to players between the ages of 16 and 20. A qualified individual with experience of youth development is essential. The role will require full commitment for the 2024/25 season, and the successful applicant will need to be available for training on a Wednesday between 6:30pm and 9pm, and also available all day on a Sunday as games will vary in kick off time. This role will be unpaid and the successful applicant will start immediately. Interviews will take place the week commencing 29^th July.

Essential Criteria

• UEFA C Licence/L2 in Coaching football
• Prior experience in youth development - preferably with U18s or U21s
• A passion for football and a desire to learn and improve as a coach
• The role will require a DBS Check
• FA Safeguarding Children Course
• FA Player Welfare in Open Age Footballing Course
• Valid FA Introduction to First Aid
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication and delivery skills

Desirable Criteria

• UEFA B Licence (or working towards)
• Designing and delivering sessions to fit within a coaching framework
