Community Day on Saturday 23rd March – 1,000 free tickets for local residents

FC United is delighted to announce an M40 and M9 Community Day on Saturday 23rd March, as part of Non League Day, where 1,000 local residents can watch our Pitching In Northern Premier League match against Basford United for free!

People who live in the M40 and M9 postcode areas are able to collect up to four tickets per household, whilst stocks last, from the club office at Broadhurst Park from 9am to 5pm every Monday to Saturday until 5pm on Friday 22nd March.

We simply ask you to provide a bank statement, utility bill or similar letter as proof of your M40 or M9 postcode, and give your name and contact details to a member of our office team.

Schools and community groups
If you’re involved with a local school or community group or project and would like to request tickets for the match, please contact us on 0161 769 2005 or email office@fc-utd.uk

If you live in the local area and would like to help promote our Community Day in local shops, community centres, and/or pubs, please download and print off the match day poster or flyer.

Bumper crowd
Due to the international break, there are no Premier League or Championship fixtures on Saturday 23rd March, so we’re aiming for a bumper crowd – one of the biggest in Greater Manchester.

If you’d like to come along and enjoy an entertaining free day out at your local football club, please pop in to collect your tickets as soon as possible. As a community-focused, not-for-profit, 100% fan-owned football club, you’ll receive a warm welcome.

Food, drink and live music
The turnstiles and two bars will open around 1pm, serving fantastic food and drink, and there will be live music from 2pm in the Saint Mary’s Road End bar. We also have activities for children planned on the day with more details to follow in due course.

Five goal thriller
Whilst we can’t guarantee goals, we hope the match will be just as entertaining as the last time we hosted Basford United in March 2022 when the Reds came from behind twice to win 3-2 in front of 2,068 noisy fans

Pay on the gate
For supporters not fortunate enough to live within a stone’s throw of Broadhurst Park, it’s pay on the gate as usual with prices as follows:

Adults – £13
Concessions* – £9
Under 18s – £3
Under 5s – free with an accompanying adult.

*over 60s, people in receipt of Income Support/Universal Credit, and students with a valid ID.

Get yourself to our football ground, bring your family and friends, and cheer on your local team together!
