FC United of Manchester has appointed Tony Howard as the club’s match day programme editor/designer, following a tender process.
In response to an advert on the club’s website about the tender, the club received 11 expressions of interest followed by five proposals. Each proposal was scored on a matrix system to allow the club to appoint someone with the necessary skills, experience and capacity who also offered the best price.
Tony’s submission met the brief provided by the club and he also offered the lowest price per programme. Tony has prior experience of doing this role for the past two years and is now working on a re-design of the programme for the coming season.
He will oversee the programme for the next three seasons after agreeing to keep his fees at the same level for the duration of the contract.
