Tony Cullen’s FC United Reserves extended their pre-season unbeaten run to four games after a 2-0 away win at Shawbridge against Unibond League First Division outfit Clitheroe FC last night.
Gary Edwards got both of FC United’s goals, with a couple of well-taken second-half chances, the first in the 47th minute and the second in the 69th minute. Clitheroe, who fielded a side composed mainly of trialists were kept at bay by a solid United backline.
