Celebrating International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day

To celebrate International Women’s Day this Friday, and Mother’s Day on Sunday, we’re excited to announce the men’s team will be wearing our women’s team Suffragette-inspired away shirt this Sunday when we play Krakow Dragoons at Broadhurst Park in the Fenix Trophy.  
 
You can get your hands on one of the special, one-off, match worn shirts on Sunday as we’re selling the 10 playing shirts to celebrate 120 years of progress and inclusion. You can order yours now.  

One year on from the launch, the message still stands strong to celebrate women in football. The purple, green and white colours traditionally associated with the suffragette movement, and the striking sash design is based on the sashes worn at parades and rallies by supporters of women’s suffragette – were chosen to recognise Manchester’s historical connection with the suffragette movement.
