Celebrating Female Football: October Half Term Festival Success

This October half term, we were thrilled to host a Female Football Festival in partnership with the Nurturing Foundation, supported by Manchester FA. The festival brought together girls aged 11-16 to enjoy the game through fun activities and small-sided tournaments, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.

A special thank you goes to Alice Hughes from Manchester FA for her support. We’re already looking forward to delivering our next Female Football Festival in the April half term!

If you want to get involved in regular football sessions for females, we have several opportunities available:

  • Open Access Female Football Sessions: Every Wednesday, 4–5pm with a UEFA qualified football coach.
  • Circuits in the Gym: Every Wednesday, 4–5pm, led by a gym instructor.

Both sessions are free and open to females aged 11–16.

For younger girls, we also run Wildcats sessions for females aged 5–11. These sessions help young players develop their skills, enjoy the game, and connect to grassroots teams if they wish to continue playing.

Come and join us to enjoy football, make new friends, and be part of a growing community of female players!
