FC United of Manchester were pleased to host a business networking event on Tuesday 11 October prior to the Morpeth Town game, attended by over 50 business delegates.

The event was sponsored by Mark Jennings of Dojo and delegates enjoyed presentations from FC United of Manchester Head of Football Neil Reynolds, Chief Executive Natalie Atkinson, Commercial Manager Frances Fielding, and special guest speaker Neil Fairlamb – Director of Neighbourhoods from Manchester City Council.

The evening aimed to showcase FC United of Manchester to a business audience in attempts to attract more commercial income to the club through sponsorship, advertising, hospitality and venue hire.

Companies who attended the event included Great Annual Savings, LSH Auto’s, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Franking Sense, Wirehouse Employment Services, Freeths Solicitors, Exmant, BE-EV, Module Web Design, ICON Sports, MID Digital Solutions, The Funky Deer Merchandise and many more.

Chief Executive, Natalie Atkinson said: “I’d like to thank all of the businesses who attended our inaugural business networking event on Tuesday evening, and Mark Jennings of Dojo who sponsored the event. I’d also like to give a special thank you to Neil Fairlamb from Manchester City Council who spoke so passionately about the club and the development of Broadhurst Park Stadium.”

The next business networking event at Broadhurst Park will be held on Friday 25 November, 12.30pm – 3pm. Businesses who would like to attend can register their interest here.
