Bring a mate through the gate: season ticket holders can bring someone along for free this Saturday

This Saturday sees FC United return to league action as we welcome Morpeth Town to Broadhurst Park, the two sides will know each other well after meeting in the North East for last Saturday’s FA Trophy tie – FC coming away with a 1-4 win and going into the hat for the next round (Radcliffe at home Saturday 28th October.)

This weekend also sees the return of international football, meaning there will be no Premier League or Championship fixtures and only 5 games scheduled to go ahead in League 1. International weekends often see a bounce in attendance for clubs at our level and we’re keen to ensure Broadhurst Park gets a piece of the action. If you’ve been banging on about the merits of FC to that mate who’s a United, Wigan, Morecambe, Burnley, Blackburn or even yes, a City fan, then this is your chance to bring them along and show off the merits of fan-owned football.

In the back of your season ticket book you will find a number of vouchers, for this weekend’s game you will be able to use Voucher A to bring someone along FOR FREE! All we ask is that they pop their name and email on the back of the voucher so we can add them to our database. Please note they will not be admitted into the ground if this is not filled in.

For this offer to work it relies on the trust of our season ticket holders to use it in the right way. The aim is to boost the numbers through the gate and to introduce FC United of Manchester to new people, or perhaps those who haven’t been for a while. Our strength as a club lies in our FC Family, working together to achieve our common goals and ensure we demonstrate how football can be run in a different way, with fans at the heart of decision making.

Pre-match live music with CYCM, cask ale in the SMRE, a great atmosphere on the terraces and (hopefully) 3 points on the pitch. Bring a mate through the gate, and let’s get Broadhurst Park rockin’!
