Reserve team captain and centre half Ben Mortimer, brother of left back Alex has been taken seriously ill after a routine operation to remove a tooth went badly wrong.
Ben was rushed to hospital yesterday and spent a number of hours on the operating table before doctors stabilised his condition.
Thankfully he is now on the mend but will remain in hospital under observation for the next few days.
