Barwell FC v FC United of Manchester, Saturday 26th April 2014, kick off 3pm

This game is to be played at Kirkby Road Sports Ground, Kirkby Road, Barwell, Leicestershire, LE9 8FQ.

A decision has been made by Barwell FC not to segregate supporters and for the match to be pay on the gate. As we expect a large number of people travelling to this fixture we urge supporters to arrive early to avoid congestion at the turnstiles.

Turnstiles will open at 1pm

Under 11 free when accompanied by an adult.

Catering and club house

The Bowls Club will be open before the match where supporters can access food and drink. The club will only be accessible from inside the ground and will be open from 1pm once the turnstiles are opened. Please note alcohol cannot be taken outside into the ground.

Travel

By Coach:

Both official coaches to Barwell are now fully booked.

By Car:

Barwell is situated between Coventry and Leicester, two miles north of Hinckley.

It is well connected to the motorway network with the M1, M6 and M69 all close.

From M1 North: M1 to Junction 22 then at roundabout turn right onto the A511 towards Coalville. Take the A511 for 3 miles then at roundabout take the second exit A447 towards Hinckley. After 12 miles go through Stapleton Village then after sharp bend turn left signposted to Barwell for 1 mile. Turn 3rd left into Kirkby Road for 400 yards. Turn right into Sports Complex. Ground is 200 yards ahead. Car park on right.

From M6 North: M6 to Junction 2 then take M69 to junction 1 towards Hinckley then take the 4th exit towards Hinckley onto the B4109 through Hinckley for 4 miles. (Road changes to B4667 Ashby Road as you pass through Hinckley). Cross the Northern Perimeter Road A47 for half mile (road name changes to A447) then turn right at Barwell turn for 1 mile. At top town roundabout turn left then immediately right into Kirkby Road for 400 yards. Turn right into Sports Complex. Ground is 200 yards ahead. Car park on right.

Alternative Route from the North: M6 to junction 12 then take A5 South for 34 miles then take A47 towards Hinckley for 2.5 miles. Turn left onto A447 Ashby Road for half mile then turn right at Barwell turn for 1 mile. At top town roundabout turn left then immediately right into Kirkby Road for 400 yards. Turn right into Sports Complex. Ground is 200 yards ahead. Car park on right.

From the South: M1 to junction 20 then take slip road left. At junction turn left onto A4303 for 2 miles then turn right onto the A5 towards Hinckley. At junction with M69 take the 4th exit towards Hinckley onto the B4109 through Hinckley for 4 miles. (Road changes to B4667 Ashby Road as you pass through Hinckley). Cross the Northern Perimeter Road A47 for half mile then turn right at Barwell turn for 1 mile. At top town roundabout turn left then immediately right into Kirkby Road for 400 yards. Turn right into Sports Complex. Ground is 200 yards ahead. Car park on right.

Alternative Route from South: M40 to junction 15 (Warwick) then follow A46 towards Coventry for 14 miles. Stay on A46 towards M69. Take M69 to junction 1 towards Hinckley then take the 4th exit towards Hinckley onto the B4109 through Hinckley for 4 miles. (Road changes to B4667 Ashby Road as you pass through Hinckley).Cross the Northern Perimeter Road A47 for half mile then turn right at Barwell turn for 1 mile. At top town roundabout turn left then immediately right into Kirkby Road for 400 yards. Turn right into Sports Complex. Ground is 200 yards ahead. Car park on right.
