On Saturday 22nd January the barrels at Gigg Lane raised a whopping £1,009. We reported last week that the money raised in the barrels would be donated towards Richard Battersby’s Shine Walk in aid of Cervical Cancer.
At a request from Richard, the £1,009 raised will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Shine Walk
Cancer Research UK needs lots of volunteers to help with this years Shine Walks being held in Manchester, London and Glasgow. The volunteers will help at the start/finish lines, as well as at the pit-stops and along the route.
