Banburynanza this Saturday

We are delighted to be visiting fan-owned club Banbury United for our next pre-season friendly on Saturday 31 July. and they’re creating an extra special matchday experience to make sure everyone can celebrate fan owned football.

On the day as well as the usual bar, kitchen and sales points around the ground being open and selling their usual fayre, there will be an outdoor FanPark to give everyone extra space to enjoy food and drink. This will only be accessible to ticket holders via the ground extending into the car park.

Entertainment

Local brewery Hook Norton Ales are very kindly supplying their trailer bar serving special beers, Hooky and Hooky Gold (rebranded Puritan Gold for the day) as well as Hooky Cider and Ironstone Lager. Foodwise they're offering delicious local Hog Roast rolls and artisan coffee will be available too.

There will be music to keep you entertained 

• Pre-match - busking set from talented local musician Tristan Pate.
• Post-match One Tone, Tony Bignold, belting out skankingly good tunes from 5:30pm.

Gates and admission

Gates open at 12:30 on Saturday and you’re advised to book your match tickets in advance at https://banburyunitedfc.ktckts.com to get easy access to the ground. If we have tickets available these can be purchased on the gate but cash only. Come early, enjoy the atmosphere and meet football fans from around the country.

Other points to note:

• There will be a matchday programme on sale and a 50/50 draw, which is raising funds for Banbury's floodlight appeal.
• If you’re driving we are working with Chiltern Railways to provide an overflow car park at the station for ticket holders.
• If you can’t attend they are live streaming the game. Its free of charge but donations are sought for the floodlight appeal. Sign up for the live stream here.
