Many FC United supporters will be aware of an incident that took place immediately after our game against Bacup on Saturday 3 February 2007. The disturbance led to an FC United supporter being seriously assaulted and taken to hospital (thankfully he is now recovering).
The Bacup police have made 3 arrests in the area already and are keen to prosecute those responsible for the attack on our fan.
The club would like to make an appeal for any witnesses to the assault, which took place on Grasmere Terrace just outside the ground, to contact the club as soon possible.
