A big weekend for FC United of Manchester!

This weekend is a big one for FC United of Manchester. First up we welcome Matlock Town to Broadhurst Park in the Northern Premier League, Neil and his team will be looking to kick on from taking 5 points out of 9 from the last 3 league games and close the gap on the play off positions. After the game Sporting Memories are taking over the main bar for a quiz night – there’ll be cash prizes, FC-themed spot prizes, Play Your Cards Right and each team will feature a Men’s Team player – book your team’s place here.

Attention then turns to our AGM on Sunday, starting at 11am in the main bar. There’ll be board elections, motions to debate and vote on, new shirt designs and updates from all areas of the club. If you haven’t attended an AGM before, or perhaps haven’t for a while, make sure you play your role in strengthening the governance of our club. We’re an integral part of the supporter-ownership movement, and our 100% fan-owned model gives our co-owners a voice, use it! And finally… Our Women’s Team welcome Hull City Ladies to Broadhurst Park as we look to continue our fantastic FA Cup run – this will be the Second Round Proper, the furthest we have ever reached in the competition! Manager Jennie Swarbrick has penned an invitation to encourage as many fans as possible to attend the game and cheer on the team as we look to write another cup-upsetting chapter in our history.
