FC United of Manchester’s Academy ’B’ team registered a hard-fought 2-2 draw away against iSports Rochdale Sacred Heart Academy Men’s 2nds at Belfield Mill Lane, Rochdale on Wednesday afternoon in their latest AoC Sport North West Championship Invitation (East) league fixture.

The Young Reds had taken an early lead on 5 minutes when CALEB ADENUGA headed home at the far post from a Jose Nsingi cross.

On 30 minutes, it was 2-0 to the visitors, when CONNOR IKIN netted after a free-kick hadn’t been cleared properly by the home defence.

On 36 minutes, Rochdale pulled one back from the penalty spot. And on 68 minutes, Rochdale Sacred Heart scored for a second time, to make the final score 2-2.
