South Shields FC Youth maintained their unbeaten start to the 2017-2018 National League u19 Alliance Division ’J’ league season with this 4-0 away win against FC United of Manchester Youth on the Broadhurst Park 3G on Wednesday afternoon.
After an evenly matched first half in which FC United came closest to opening the scoring with efforts from Cameron Boland and then Mason Gregg, it was the visitors who opened the scoring when MICHAEL COLQUHOUN headed home on 63 minutes.
On 71 minutes, South Shields Youth went 2-0 up when substitute DANIEL McGUIRE netted, and on 82 minutes, MICHAEL COLQUHOUN added goal number three.
KARL ROSS completed the scoring for South Shields with goal number four in the final minute.
